Clemson, USC expected to offer

Four-star defensive lineman TJ Sanders is making his first trip to South Carolina since receiving an offer from the Gamecocks. Sanders arrived in Columbia this morning for the team's annual spring game. He is expected to attend the game and meet with the coaching staff. Sanders is a major in-state flip candidate for South Carolina. He is currently committed to North Carolina, but the Gamecocks have been making a strong push for him. Sanders is a 6-foot-5, 290-pound defensive tackle from Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, South Carolina. He is considered one of the top defensive tackles in the country. Sanders has been committed to North Carolina since June of 2022, but he has been open to other schools. South Carolina has been one of the schools that has been recruiting him the hardest. The Gamecocks offered Sanders a scholarship in January, and they have been in constant contact with him ever since. Sanders is expected to make a decision on his college future this summer.
